Meditation I
Meditation I
I am
Adam before the fall,
naming the ineffable and
speaking to the godperson.
Deification achieved,
I am
mens, corpus, animaque
a trinity of humanity.
I am
an ocean of consciousness,
a body of continents,
a transcendent house of clouds,
I encompass all of myself.
Through self reflection and meditation,
I recognize my divinity.
But before the revelations of my sacred self,
I was prostrate, defeated by my distorted self image and deprecation.
Dark thoughts of self sacrifice and foreign opinions governed my mind,
I, a shattered mirror in a fragmented
household. Like a father, distant from a son,
I
(divided by self-repulsion,
a sea of vanity)
grew distant
from
myself.
